We are pleased to offer you the opportunity to review the current version of the Manual that is provided to all registrants for the SPHERE Workshops. It summarizes the theoretical and philosophic underpinnings of the workshop and is a “living document” which is constantly updated and expanded (you can find the version number and revision date on page 7 of the manual).
Please feel free to share the manual with colleagues, especially those in the healthcare field who want to learn more about the application of systemic nonlinear approaches to understanding healthcare events. We will be grateful if you indicate clearly the source of the material, with a notation of how to find it on the website. We will welcome suggestions for improvements or additional topics which you think would be useful (as well as any corrections).
The manual is only one part of the extensive materials provided to registrants for the workshop. They will also receive multiple case studies, handouts illustrating three-dimensional chronologies, slide shows for each of the modules, legislative details for different jurisdictions and sample reports.
